74 tii on ebay

Is that Otto, the car Rob Siegel had?  The story sounds familiar...West Newton, Mass, etc.

But I don't know for sure.  I can't recall the details of Otto besides it was a '74 tii that was in decent but not perfect condition.  Rob has so many cars going through the Siegel revolving garage door that I sometimes get them confused.

Correct. Rob had the car for about a year before this St. Louis outfit got it.

This motoexotica is cornering the market in '02s......they have (& had) a few on Ebay currently.

Oh wow.  Did they do anything to the car?  Like I said, I can't recall exactly what condition Otto was in - I don't have a good basis of comparison to be able to look at the pics and figure out what these guys have done, if anything.

As far as I can tell, they did nothing. Maybe they washed it.

I guess it is good they did not try and cover up the visible rust.

Here's the current motoexotica Ebay listings;-

I don't believe they have done anything to the car. This is at least the third time they have put it up. I guess "one owner since 1977" is a better story than "one owner since 1977 until it was bought and partially sorted out, including a new head, by some 2002 guy."
