maybe you could reduce the weight if you cut out the spare well, etc...it would be faster then too

That is really cool. I always wanted to do something like this, but not necessarily a BMW. I would install it from the outside with broken siding so it looks like it went thru the wall. Good thing shipping would devastate my budget, or I would own some DQ48 art.
