Here's a periodic update.  Hard to believe the thread started almost four years ago.

1.  Interior (seats, door cards and rear parcel shelf) still being re-done.  Will check this week on its progress.

2.  Anodizing (window frames, drip rails and other bits) still lost in space.  Sent it east ages ago.  It was promised to be done more than a year ago and remains promised to be done.

3.  Terry made some grab rail parts with 3-d imaging.

4.  I worked on the plastic door sills.  Before and after shown--I hope you can tell which is which.  I used some progressive grades of sanding boards to reduce the scratches then fine steel wool and plastic polish.

Any chance to get grab handle covers?  Or a 3D printing file?

Someone shared this link to the file for 3d printable grab handle ends earlier this year either here on the NK forum and or on the Facebook NK Group. I don’t have access to a printer capable of the job, but would love a couple of the ends if someone I know does have some printed out.

I’m talking to a friend who may have access to a 3D printer about the handle pieces...stay tuned, should know something on whether it can be done or not in a week or two.

Got the interior back, and I think it looks very good.  One of the pictures has a couple scraps of original vinyl for color comparison.  The anodized window frames and other pieces are scheduled to arrive from the east coast next Tuesday.

Thanks again to Peter for the seats.  He'll be glad to know that under the fancy new vinyl I left the somewhat scruffy metal frames and rusty springs as is, although I might soak the springs in some de-ruster.

Sides of the seat bolsters were reinforced with some aluminum.

I'll reach out and see if they made any progress.  Everyone I know seemed to get busy during the holidays and I haven't reconnected with everyone yet ?

I am working on printing them too, I need 2 sets and I will make them for whoever needs.  I want to work on the texture so its as close to original as possible.

As noted previously I would like a set of handles,  too.
