1970 2002 - Running/Driving -$2000

Hey everyone!

I bought this car about 60 days ago under the false pretense that I'd have free time to work on it and autocross it. Shortly after that my role at work shifted and I have very little time to sleep much play with cars right now. I'm whittling down from three cars to one and this one is up for sale.

 

Some highlights:

Starts everytime, even after sitting for 3+ weeks

Runs, drives, shifts, steers and brakes well

Was autocross regularly by previous owner, so suspension, brakes drivetrain and engine are very sorted

Previous owner supplied a lot of receipts and claimed all rubber in the suspension to be refreshed

IE Front Sway bar and Strut brace

Bilstien Struts

Weber 32/36

Header

MSD box

Pentronix 

Front and rear shock towers are excellent!

Firewall is excellent

floors pans are in great shape

This car is solid where it counts and doesn't hide anything (no carpet, one seat, etc)

Nice Corbeau Bucket/Harness

Clean title

 

Cons:

Multi-"colored"

Outer Rockers are rusted/rotted

Fenders/quarters are hacked and covered in awful, rusty flaires

Late nose panel

Wiring isn't pretty, at all.

interior is almost non-existent 

Car is aesthetically Rough.

 

Car is located in St. Louis, Mo. I've put about 200 miles on it around town since purchase, but all in small trips to the store or gym. I'd recommend towing it unless you're local to STL.

 

Price is $2000 and will come with a lot of other parts (seats, fenders, 1/4 panels, bumpers, etc). I'd entertain trades but I'm more inclined to sell.

 

Will not part out. Again, I lack time and I think this car could stay on the road for quite some time longer with a little TLC and the right frame of mind.
