I had a little bit of trouble finding the correct pertronix for my 68 1600 (12 volt).  The breaker plate is different on the early cars.  I originally ordered the 1847 pertronix but it did not fit.  I called the pertronix tech line with the distributor model number and they gave me the correct pertronix model which was 92843 for the ignitor II.  Don't know if it is different for the 6 volt model.  There should be a metal plate on the distributor with the model number.  According to my books it should be 0 231 115 048.  I ordered it through Summit Racing, $169.97.

I just put an 123 my 6v NK, no problem. The 123 automatic detects if you're running a 6 or 12v systeem, see the manual/spes.
