Anyone bought Trap Mirror to door seals lately?

I bought the trap mirror to door seals around 10 years ago in preparation for my Touring refurbish.

So, today I opened the boxes. The pic shows new seal on top, and old (original) seal beneath.

Suffice to say they are useless.

If anyone has bought some lately I would suggest inspecting them real quick, so you can return them if BMW's supplier is still making them like this.

I'll re-use the originals!

I found that too. Re-examined my original one and used that. I also found that the handle gaskets are not a fantastic fit either. I got them to work but they needed to be stretched out and then trapped by the handle.
