are they Rota's? very nice..

No, OZ Alpina 15x7x12mm, these have additional lip, Rota's are flush at 15x7x26mm. the difference is subtle but noticeable. The Rota's are a better fit but I thought the Alpina offset looked more aggressive.

I do love tacos.

Taqueria Los Cazadores in Poulsbo makes pretty good ones, but I prefer to make them at home.

Thank you for a thread in which my tortilla presses are not off topic.

I bought the top one first, about ten years ago.  It was painted silver, so I sandblasted that off, then blackened with the weed burner and oiled as it cooled back down.  HechO-en MexicO.

The new-to-me one's chrome plated, or something like that.  More metal cast into it, so it smashes them flatter and more evenly.

Made-in ColombiA.  I think I prefer the first one.

Corn MasA and water is all that you need.  A press and hot dry griddle and you are in business.

Guess what I just had for supper :) these were on the 'simple' side.
