I am the unteenth owner and this car has all kinds of sorted history. All original as far as you are concerned.
I bought it (from a little old lady) cause I wanted to sell it for more than I paid for it. Want it to go to someone who has deep pockets.
The car has been serviced by a mechanic who has tools and knows these cars, so rest assure it is well cared for.
The mechanicals are solid. Has been tuned-up with bolt-on parts only like plugs and wires, cap and rotor, plus oil filter. Brakes work, I know this cause the car stops, so no worries there. Car drives. Interior is black. Tires and wheels roll.
Things it has:
Carburetor
transmission
sway bars
seats and carpet
chrome bumpers
black plates
steering wheel
spare tire
gauges

40k for a salvaged 1600? Not really ALL original as the exhaust looks like it was meddled with and what about those rims? ... no engine pics?

It could be somebody spouting off about how unrealistic asking prices are.

I think that is quite likely. My impression was that this was some creative satire. [emoji16]

"serviced by a mechanic who has tools" Oh please, don't get me started; unless you really want my assessment...
