Here is something i have been working on when i have time

https://www.bmw2002faq.com/models/

This lists all models that i think this site should be covering between '02s. NK, and 700

The list of models is also associated to the years.  So clicking on each of the years will show you the models produced in those years.

The goal is to create more associated databases for items that might be year, model specific and build the associations.  i will eventually attach colors database to this.

Currently, there aren't many descriptions of the cars.  I added Type, Production years, and total number produced. Some information is missing as i might not have it or did not get a chance to add it.  As with everything else here, all members can edit and add all needed details. So, please, add descriptions and possibly other details if you have them.

I am hoping some can contribute with good description of each model. Some history woudl be very useful.

Thanks,

Steve K.

Very nice, Steve!

Thank you!

(Remember, there's no such thing as a "1600-02".  It's a "1600-2": one less "0"!)

Best regards,

Steve C.

Very nice.  This will be a great Data Base.  I didn't see the 2002Lux.  I could have missed it.

Yes, Mike, but is a LUX a genuine sub-model -- I believe sub-models are differentiated by four-digit numbers, such as "2583" for a U.S. tii or "2215" for a late U.S. 2002 -- or is it simply a trim package, akin to the Sport Paket available on touring models?  Stated differently, is it an (a.) sub-model or a (b.) option?  (I don't know the technical answer to that question but I'd guess that if you queried Archives, and their data showed "LUX" after "2002", "2002tii", etc., it might be a separate sub-model. I think the package was additionally available on 1802's, maybe 1602's, probably not 1502's.) Someone here will know!

Regards,,

Steve

Here are 2 pictures of my friends 2002Lux.  He said it was a trim package and not a se595452ad1a7c6_1975-BMW2002LuxEdition-LANDOW-001.thumb.jpg.4079d6b5c7f38a48cf003d210640be98.jpgparate sub-model.  This one is an Italian Lux.
