Installed a Kooglewerks spoiler. Maybe not to everyone’s taste, but I like it. This is the tall/4" version.

@Forrest_KoogleWerks - Very nicely made part. Went on with no issues. The belt trim ends were a great add on to finish it off.

Next, I really need to get those overriders off the rear bumper...

@BarneyT Wow! Looking very cool

Went to a BMW meetup with a buddy on Sunday, fun to talk with other BMW people. Got invited for a Wisconsin drive with 5-10 02's this Sunday. So, in a way more motivation to work on the car this week!

Got the Upholstery back last night and started with the driver door card this evening. Need to remove some vinyl material from the corners which isn't allowing the panel to slide low enough. Still waiting on the stitched handles. Pretty happy with the pieces but I am thinking I may go rear seat delete with blue carpet instead of the bench. It takes up a lot of room in the cabin (just resting in place in pic).

What I did figure out was the window alignment. Little adjustment here, there. I had it pretty close but couldn't get the everything spot on. What worked for me on the driver side was bringing the window to a "low" position where the glass can still be pushed flush along the vertical edge of the window guides. With the glass square in the felt groove, the forward-most bracket (attaches to the vent window frame with two wheels) needs to be loosened in order to adjust the angle of the bracket. The bracket needs to be adjusted so that the wheels have equal "tight" clearance on each side of the groove and tightened down. All other adjustments start from there. More to come after the drive.

@LikeStig Your car is looking great! I know you posted it a while back as it was being done, but the louvered hood is a really cool idea.

With the look you’re going for, I agree that the rear seat delete would be a good way to go.

Thanks Bento! Your turbo build is awesome. I want to do the same. I already saved your very nice, high resolution pictures :P.

Thats a really good point. I was thinking more about balance of colors, but it does pull away from a late-period look.

I have been considering sheepskin covers. Could you share some information, maybe a link to the seller?  Unfortunately I have seats from an early 320 variant, not stock 2002 seats.

Fixed a sloppy clutch pedal by replacing some ‘older’ bushing parts and pins (this can be done without removing the pedal box, for those wondering...). -KB

I also bought mine from Rocky Mountain Sheepskin. I only purchased the driver's seat #3627 which was the best quality offered  @ $320.  I purchased it to keep from burning the back of my legs when the sun beats down on the vinyl and the extra comfort it provides. The original seats are not the most comfortable on long drives.
