Ditto for me. With the info and pictures on the site, it truly was an easy fix for the trip odometer.

Life is short, enjoy the ride!

What thickness are you using?

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It's not very thick maybe a 16th of an inch. I've had this for a couple years, left over from my E30. I can't recall who/where I got it. Using this for the rest of the car. Noico, off Amazon which looks about the same

Well I kept adding it until when I thumped the panel, it didn't resonate!

Surprisingly to me, that entailed covering most everywhere (including the doors) (and don't forget to replace your door linkage grommets!).

I used to be in the camp that covering half the panel should oughta be sufficient. It wasn't.

I did remove the whole interior and cover all panels, including the inside (top) of the rear wheelwells.

Also I found some discarded carpet padding and used it as sound insulation under and behind the rear seat.

And I put it under the trunk boards.

And then (!) I bought 2 yards of this jute https://www.ebay.com/itm/280885845814

and put it under the carpet.

And the EZ-Cool firewall insulation, since I'd ripped mine out.

The car is still not Honda quiet. But better.

I hope ;-)

Cheers,

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P
