Working our way home from the vintage, Finely turned west leaving Jacksonville Fl. after working our way down the east coast from Charlotte to Savanna Georgia...

New carburetor new fuel line and she started up. Whew. Now just need to install the 123 disty. Any experience out there. 

76' not sure what the original color but right now it is red/orange.

Thanks. All the tubes are 1 1/2". But the bar that goes horizontal from the front to rear is 1 1/4" just so it could fit inside the 1 1/2" tube in certain parts. All the square tubes are 16 gauge steel. Hope that helps.

Just follow the directions...Thats a really easy job and the most rewarding upgrade to my car that I have done so far. Front & Rear IE swaybars next.

inspected tie-rods and center link for replacement. other bushings around there look OK. adjusted front wheel bearings and inspected ball joints. all good. tore up new carpet to see if there was an anchor for the accelerator pedal, nope. adjusted accelerator lever. big difference in power now. making a parts order list...

do you mean the one coming off of the pedal box?

 

mine was slipping on the shaft when I got my car.

I had to open up the pinch point, so it would get a grip.

The two sides were touching at the end, when clamping.

yes. I have been driving it since September without a pedal, eventually began slipping. Some odd engineering, but your photo makes sense now. I can see now how the pedal will prevent that in the future... hopefully
