We returned from 20 days in Ireland of driving a rent car on the left and driving roads with very narrow lanes and signage like this...Took both my cars for drives and enjoyed our roads and cheap gas....

We rented a RHD 3 series in Ireland from Hertz August 2016.  It rained all the way from Dublin to Sheen Falls.  Was certainly an experience.

Anyone out there looking for new interior should strongly consider working with John Christy out of Staten Island, NY.

I came to John with some ROUGH looking seats essentially upholstered in bus vinyl.

I wanted Ted an updated but still period correct look with the original color vinyl. What John found for a saddle brown interior and how he put these seats together was unreal.

I’ll just shut up now and show you some photos of his work. If you need to get in touch with him (either on the east coast or you want a DIY kit mailed) you can contact him through Instagram @ninestitchnyc

Good luck!

I hooked into the connector that I believe goes to the TII pump, but since I don't have a TII it's open. The green/white wire on the 3 prong connector next to the hood lock lever.

I ran a pump off the Tii connector for 2 years, recently it finally singed the connectors due to the draw. As documented on this site I upgraded the wire and installed a relay from the battery

Thanks for the insight. I actually bought a relay for it but took the shortcut of running a direct route... heh heh.  Its sitting on the bench, so i will consider installing it soon. Wouldn’t want to let the smoke out inside the car like that!

I wonder if part of why you singed it is because as the pump aged the bearing surface wear caused more resistance and the pump drew more current.

Hey do you still have that radiator?
