Was getting ready for a trip south  this weekend to get some work done in Seattle. The CoronaVirus  has put an end to that for the foreseeable future. A voluntary travel ban to the US has just been placed in affect.

Yeah, I told my 90 year old mother to stay in her condo. Instead of going out for lunch I picked up some good Fish and Chips from the Spud and we ate IN.

Eric we live in a scary time, I have a place near Baker where we spend a great deal of time. That came to a quick end today, hopefully we all can come thru this thing unscathed.

Running across Louisiana Flat highway driving I averaged 32+ with my single barrel carburetor and five speed transmission... The single barrel is a great carburetor for most driving, my favorite car to drive.

Was thinking about some blue Cali vanity plates saying covid19 for my 02. They are a pandemic and everywhere and a bug we can’t get rid of :)

I just ordered a bunch of parts from Blunt and jumped on a plane to Maui to fight the corona virus head on, with none other than Corona Extra.

Fighting fire with Fire.

Wish me luck, boys.

Went to the junkyard and picked up a resonator... spliced it in to replace the busted stock resonator.

It’s a honda resonator ?

It turns out the stock 2002 exhaust pipe walls are very very thin compared to a lot of newer OEM pipes... This was very difficult to weld with my cheap low quality flux core welder. Started to get the hang of it and some small bits look ok, but the grinder definitely helped... haha. At least I saved money???

I didn’t feel like removing the fenders to begin correcting the door gaps so I started mounting flares instead.

Rears aren't consistent side to side (about 3/4” variance) so I’ve got some figuring to do before I Cleco them on.

Couldn’t resist posting this one even though it’s not BMW. I set the hood on my ‘54 Cadillac Series 62 build to make sure clears the 7.3. It does by a “short” inch.  I’m shoehorning a 7.3 Powerstroke/ZF 5spd manual in it. Once it’s running It’ll be churning out 400+hp and 800+ft lbs.
