Man those wheels look great on the car, are your seats restuffed they look good from the pic angle.

My daughter loves my 02, funny how they appeal so much to the younger generation.... or perhaps not!

Just got back new to me gas tank.Had it dipped turned out well. That and a couple small parts,$50.

Gloss black top and raptor bed liner on the bottom is the plan.

KBS tank sealer was recommended by someone that  restores motorcycle tanks.

Anyone here every use KBS solutions ?

Never used KBS but have used Caswell Tank Sealer on a couple motorcycle tanks. It has held up well for ~5years now.

I tried KBS. It seems like a good product, and prep is very important.

Unfortunately I wasn't able, apparently, to adequately prep the tank, which had been BADLY coated previously. Obviously I had to remove the old coating and apply the KBS products.  That was no easy task (the first part mainly).

I had high expectations but it lasted only about 6 months. I don't blame the products, though....

YMMV.

Cheers,

Got the new wheel bearings packed, new rotors on, and hubs back on the car:

I then pulled the alternator (for new bushings) and then the brake master + booster (fluid in the booster, of course) for inspection and and having a problem disassembling the master cylinder, even after removing the retaining bolt -- but this might be a question for a new post. Also, the two bottom bolts on the booster were an incredible pain to get to! Any tips for reinstalling?

IIRC, I ground a 13mm box wrench in half so that it was much shorter.

WOW! Barney, your work never ceases to amaze me. That carpet came out so well too! I will have to consult you one day once I get through more of my mechanical work. As always, thanks for sharing!
