It’s been done, there’s a post on the faq. Might even be a blog, have a search I’m sure it will turn up, from memory it’s very well done.

100% not for me though, if we had to do that I’d just park mine up and look at it?

About ten of us drove out to Fredericksburg, Texas. Had one hiccup 1/2 way there, but slapped a new set of points in a Tii and she was golden.
The old Coupe led the pack.

Screwed around with a dented fuel tank the other night. I picked up one of those HF stud welders a while back and wanted to see what I could do with it.

Hack tip 1-Don’t pull too hard on any one stud. Eventually you’ll rip the stud off along with the meta below it.

Hack tip 2- And don’t waste your time with the thinner studs on the heavy gauge metals in these cars.

Ospho’d some rusty patches along the trim line. Installed a seat that actually has some upholstery on it.  Headrest is different.  Kinda like it better.  Will see if I can hunt down a matching passenger seat.  Ran it for awhile.  Still no title though. Only drive it in my dreams.

That driver’s seat is 1969 - 1972, based on the presence of headrests and chromed recliners. I could better (more narrowly) judge the date if I could see the perforated vinyl pleats more closely, or, of course, if I looked at the date-stamped inspection cards that generally remain in the backrests.

You should be able to find a passenger-side twin for this.

Regards,

Steve
