Last day of the Bavarian tour in Oberammergau, this is the most beautiful part of the world I’ve ever seen…we are leaving today for Munich to tour the BMW classic Facility tomorrow… if we had a dollar for everyone that’s taking a picture of our Texas plates we can pay for this trip.

So many questions! Did I miss a thread or what is the info on this Barney? You (and others) shipped your cars to Germany to take part in this tour?

Yes we shipped our Fyord blue Baur targa over to attend the Bavaria Tour with the BMW Classic club, and then my wife and I are staying for another four weeks driving across France to The Mediterranean coast over to Barcelona and up the West Coast France back to Rotterdam…bucket list for me…

Wow I am fascinated by this! Where can I find details for future excursions? And that's certainly bucket list stuff, please keep the pics coming and way to go!

Hi all, today, I finished the polished aluminum line, the front grill to see how it fits, and progressed on the roof lining...but here I'm going to face a problem: how to pull it right in place to the upper lip of the windscreen and hold it there until the glue is strong enough...
It's a good feeling to see it slowly coming back to it's original "form"!

Trying to write some updates for the blog, but, hard to get time.

routed brake and fuel line, using later model clips.  Ended up polishing and clear coating the lines....for personal zen.

Buddy, you got issues

Hey that' a great trip you doing there. Trier is 250km from home. Use extreme caution on the Nürburgring Norschleiffe track. Some areas are very slippery when wet, ...and I'm not talking about some drivers who "try" to drive like F1 drivers! But a great experience! I hope you'll enjoy the rest of you trip. JP Belgium.

So today is my car's birthday.

I've had my hands full the last several months trying to figure out a running issue, and with @jimk's help, I think I've got it under control.

today was the first day in months my car made me smile.

I'm thinking I'm going back to stock e30m3 brakes so I can go back to 15" wheels. The 16s are just really big, what with the 205/50 and all. The big brakes are sweet, but...

oh yeah, and like Jim, now coil on plug. :)
