Not all came with those pieces I dont believe? …my ‘72 does not have them…

Well… the three front-floor vinyl pieces were original to all ‘02’s: (a.) front of the trunk floor, and (b.) junctions of the front floor with the tire wells. But the glue eventually lost its adhesion, the vinyl pieces got lost, or were not worthy of reinstallation,  people re-painted and decided they didn’t need or want them…

 

Now side panels… that’s a different story. We know they were not on all cars, but are still debating when they started, whether Euro-spec square taillights had them (U.S. did not), and probably a few other issues! 😉
