Tell Steve his window felt strip is a little frayed. It's probably the only flaw on that E9.

Yesterday I applied Rain X to both the front and back windshields.  Today, for a family visit I drove about 175 miles in the rain, sleet, hail, and snow.  Glad to get back home safely.  Rain X worked pretty good overall. Interesting how the water would run across the windshield to the edge as seen by the dried dirt. I drove in the slow lane the entire time around 55-60 mph so maybe not fast enough to push the water straight over the glass.

After much delay and obsessive consideration, I finally installed my CN36-early alloy combo!  I know the early alloys aren't 'correct' on a '74, but I just love the look too much to care. Also, the CN36's are amazingly smooth, completely transforming the ride.  A special thanks goes to Priors Tires in Santa Cruz, who did a fantastic job with my special project.

Looking great. What width did you end up going with?

I have a similar looking car as this, but I am running 175/70r13 CN36 tires. I also drove it today. The first time in a while.

Okay Barney...how are you finding these cars?

This one is just sitting out in the wild...?  What the heck...great find.

Your wife might be right...all my retired hot-rod friends are now circling my 2002s.  Must be the smell...???
