Installed Grice's E-Brake upgrade kit.  Feels great, brake is super-solid.  (Mine was missing the circlip on one side...loosey-goosey!)

Excellent! I did mine last month and it's ridiculously nice and tight at the pivot point!

One thing I had to do is make sure the sheet metal sides were perfectly straight to begin with

or the brake lever would angle off to one side. Using some big ol' channel locks with rubber jaws to bring them back into spec......I fixed that and now the brake is perfectly aligned between the seats

Now instead of normal turns.... I do Scandi' Flicks' all over town...?

Remind me again...you have a euro tii?  (obviously I guess)  I see the handbrake warning light switch behind the handbrake.  We didn't get that over here on the tii, until 74 I believe.  Nice work on the re&re kit btw.

I fudged mine because I could:

Paul, you are an inspiration for meticulous craftsmanship!

Yes, it's a Euro Tii... I just realized looking at these photos instead of hanging over the driver's seat at an uncomfortable angle, that I need to go back and reposition that e-brake switch mount.  It's almost completely off center!

Installed power door locks and got my windows tinted!

Nice.  Got mine tinted last week.  It is so much nicer inside- and the dog isn't complaining about being hot...

Drove it. Man it's nice.

Prior to that i almost cooked it. Traced problem to a bad contact in fan fuse circuit. Replaced it with newer flat(?) type fuse thing. And while at it i threw in a new air filter + put new lamp to heater lever illumination.

Installed my Franken-wheel today. I call it that because it was purchased for an old Ford truck years ago but never got used. I harvested my bus wheel to use as a "custom" mounting hub and I had the center badge from the bus wheel milled into the horn button.f569894f4e014e7cdb3d0219d0ef4197.jpgf1c21602e47831de205780b589472404.jpg

Installed Pertronix. Wow! Super easy to install, and made a huge difference! That periodic tick/misfire while idling seems to be gone... Hopefully it doesn't return.

I like your plug thermal booties. I just had a long thread on heat and wires. Decided on wraps for wires but plan maybe to have them a bit longer to cover not only plug but wire

I like your plug booties too. Thinking of some of them myself.

Not sure about the clip on the strut top holding the wires. As the engine rocks around that will saw away at the plug wires. I would secure them to the engine so they move with it.
