Dude I am so interested in your project.  I was tossing around the same idea, I didn't really want to go to FI unless I had to.  I give you huge credit for trying this.  Where did you source your blow through carb? Please PM me .

I ordered and installed the I.E parking brake fix kit. It was a little cumbersome to get in.  The trick is to put a little painters tape on either side to keep the bearing and washers in place until you can get the bolt through.  Works great and takes all the side to side play out of the lever.

Well it wasn't today but on Friday finally got to Church Automotive Testing in Wilmington, CA. to get some tuning done.  The hardest part was the over 2 hours drive in traffic to get there at 10 am.

Shawn was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Church.

The whole process took less than 2 hours.  The engine now pulls much smoother and has about 40+ more HP, yup it was in need of some help.  We ended up with 259 hp and 255 lbs of torque.  The boost was kept at 12 lbs.  My goal was not to get every last bit of power out of the engine but to get enough to make it fun and keep it as safe as possible.  Well I did want to get at least 1 more HP than Ray :)

This is the dyno sheet.

Good numbers. Would love to see the dyno charts. I’m curious how a turbo m10 compares to a turbo m42. We could definitely see the lack of breathing limiting the top end on my car but I’m guessing the m42 doesn’t have that problem.

I finished removing the driveline from the ‘69 and separated it from the subframe.

I removed the right quarter panel, a portion of the outer rocker, and the outer wheelhouse from the ‘73. While the quarter and wheelhouse aren’t quite as nice as I once believed, they are still quite good and won’t take too much work to prepare for use on the ‘68.

I think the next thing to do will be to remove the outer wheelhouse from the ‘69 shock tower and fit it to the ‘73 car just to add some structure back until I get around to “building” that car. Since the ‘73 will get flares I can get away with re-using the rotted ‘69 metal. ?

I gotta give you some serious respect for doing projects that size on grass and gravel. Thats my kind of dedication!

oh it’s not really that bad. I’m just using the tents to keep the cars dry while I tear them down. The real work is happening in the garage. If I had my choice I’d have a 60x130 clear span building with a polished floor and HVAC to work in. Alas though I have

not won the lottery, nor have I come up with “that next great idea”.
