Ok i feel kind of crazy for doing it but you only live once, we are headed down the route of the great Alps…Incredibly beautiful incredibly scary…We left Monaco headed to Grenoble.

Skipped a day, Saturday we drove the Baur down lower Cornishe from Nice to Monaco with the Saturday traffic and all of the dodging of the Bentleys and Ferraris we decided to head north towards Switzerland stopping on the way in Grasse, France…

My trunk bin is nearly complete . Just need my carpeting for the inside lining . Removable partitions and built to carry large oil and antifreeze bottles for those long road trips. Not that anyone would need to add any of that stuff

Since I had to drain the cooling system all over the garage again, just to pull the warmup regulator….. hai Fumoto!

I have been trying to figure out which way is “locked”.  Guess I’ll find out!

I have a few of those. Was going to use them on the oil pan. When the MINI was in for something invasive I asked the shop to install the valve and they refused

Actually did this today.  Totally fixed the problem.  Didn't fix the host of other problems, but now the car turns off with the key.

Well, if your Mini is like mine, it’s way too close to the ground to take the risk of scraping it off.

File under what I did in my 2002 over the last two weekends. Here you will find, the before of the underside of my hood and after i painstakingly removed 47-year-old adhesive using, yes it's true, a tooth brush. (the color looks different because the lighting is completely different)

@flagoworld So, the key would then turn the car off, but it wouldn't allow for the battery to charge, so it was running just on the battery. (Light didn't come on.)  Think that means I had the diode going to wrong way?

I finally got my 67 running. Took it for its first drive around the neighborhood. And yes I spilled fuel putting in gas. Darn California gas nozzles.
