Got the engine and trans in the car!  It was my first time using the Bendpak mid rise scissor lift and floor Jack to do this.  Waaaay easier.  This video was first attempt - failed due to header and carb interference.  Removed them and second video failed but you get the drift - went very smoothly once exhaust and carb deleted.

Kudos to the folks at Metric Mechanic!  Their "Ultimate 5 Speed Kit" was a breeze to install.  NO HAMMERING of anything.

I am interested in that gas filter... what brand / source for it?

Its made by Malpassi in Italy.  Filter King is what its sold under.  Mine is a fuel regulator/ filter.  I have the pressure gauge that you can get with it.  Model #  FPR 006.

I had their  regulator only and the little plastic gas filter but wanted to tidy things up.

They have a great reputation and it looks cool and more period correct I think.

With gauge was around $100. or so.

Works great to adjust fuel pressure for my DCOE Webers.

I got mine off eBay from a UK seller JP4mance  they were cheapest by quite a bit a shipping was fast.

W&N stainless exhaust went in without issues!

For those of you following this project I am excited to say that the exhaust now exits the car properly out the side. ( I remember the day when someone said unbeknownst to me that my center exit exhaust was not correct!). I was upset. ?. And now look!

(Pardon the zip ties- I have to place the rear bracket near the axel). ?

Metric Mechanic’s ultimate five speed down pipe bracket is slick.  Worked like a charm.
