I have those CN36’s on the Turkish automatic, I found them to be too round in the sidewall to tread edge and they seemed roll and too wear very quickly…really like the Vredestein sprint classics I just purchased two sets one for project Ceylon Tii and replacement of Pirelli’s on Turkish…

Good to know, thank you!

Bumpers on!  Need a few more items, like door alignment, install AC components and console, radio, KW speaker and under dash panels.  I am doing a '10 foot' refurbish of side grills to use until MVP issues theirs.  Also waiting for a Vintage Dash 2 piece which will be an installation project for next winter.

Car is a 73US tii, we have done the body 'Euro Style' with Euro Bucket lights, flush signals, removing reflectors, rear side markers, and using earlier bumper brackets.  I have pictograph knobs for the new dash.

New spare and went to tune my DCOE Webers and found a broken float.

No idea how long it was broken, pretty sure I didn't do it when taking apart.

Ordered new float and a couple of gaskets.

Will try to solder it for a spare.

A few weekends ago I replaced my steering box with a rebuilt one I got from 2002ad. They have always been quick to reply to my emails in the past and I was surprised with how quick the steering box arrived. My old one had a bad dead spot when making right turns about 10 deg from center and also leaked really bad. I also replaced my engine mounts since they looked original.

I've emailed 2002AD  from their website and do not get replies.  Do you have an email address you can provide?

Thanks.

Noticed some loose bolts while under the rear end to replace the gasket on the differential cover. Looks l  like  I need to use some loctite and tighten these. 03EDD2B1-2DC3-4DE6-8468-15E405930EC0.thumb.jpeg.8e6588cdc72180fc1e31ae6dfea4ae2f.jpeg

Good thing you caught it now.  Those CV joint bolts are notorious for getting loose.  Yes, you need to Loctite them and torque them down, but make sure you clean the bolt holes of any grease prior to Loctite.  Doesn't hurt to check them on a regular basis, too.
