Replaced my broken  Weber float on my DCOE's.

I screwed up the float measurement first try, a little chemo brain I think.

Corrected my mistake changed my chokes from 34mm to 33mm and a different air corrector.

Car is running  strong and likes to rev up high.  ?  Come on Spring.

Started cleaning up the ignition on the 1600 it had one of those aftermarket CDI  Mark Ten B boxes. 20E0E11F-6A21-4496-9AF1-6467232602A9.thumb.jpeg.96ddcc970b6a99c64eda7107e62dc12f.jpeg

Next it was on to replacing the alternator bushings although it probably could have gone another 100k :)  The grease I scraped off the bracket was thicker than the remainder of the bushing.  I also put a new capacitor but the one on the distributor goes though the side and the new one is meant to notch in so I spliced it in. Question, if the rotor spins clockwise where is the correct location for the wires. Anyone have a diagram?  ThanksBB6D6F45-D7F7-4D3B-ABE2-D7E50C1E6E82.thumb.jpeg.fb7d7862329ef669df7624c71f67de0a.jpeg

Putting the final touches on the newly rebuilt original engine.  Reattached the front bumper.  Sprucing up engine bay to get it all ready.  Really need to address the ride height up front!!

Shiny engine cover, looks beautiful. Is it painted?

Yes, had everything vapor honed at a local shop that does vintage motorcycles.  Turned out great!

Got the headliner fitted!  Gonna let it sit for a week before I get up the nerve to break out the landau top cement.

I chose leather on the B Pillars. Seems ok. Smells nice too!

Rear bow restoration and installed without a hitch. New clips too.
