What did you do to your 2002 today !

Finally got around to putting in that Esty carpet kit.  Other than the transmission tunnel giving me some issues it was fairly straight forward.  I really appreciate Esty's recommendations on color combo's for mats in knowing I have a Bristol exterior and Marine Blue interior.  She is truly an artist at her trade.

Well finished my Auto to Manual changeover today...took it for a spin, very fun as a manual car!! Seems as though I bought a bum tranny though, syncs are good, shifts nicely but input shaft bearing is shot, loud in N, 1 2 3 4. Oh well, that's the risk you take on used parts. Seemed a little loud on the bench but didn't have anything to really reference against. Now I know!! I really dread dropping the tranny again.

On another note really had to bump my idle down as no load/weight from torque converter and it revs so much quickly now in neutral.

Benzintinte- looks beautiful. What are your plans? Drive or restore or both?

Buy her a nice new shiny roundel for her pretty rear!!

Good luck

Thank you! For now, the plan is to drive it and enjoy it. There are a number of small things to address, but the car is so solid out of the gate I feel like I'll leave it mostly as is for the time being.

What dust caps did you use for the vented disks? I heard the stock ones are to small....

If you are asking about the dust shields, had to use Turbo shields.  Got Neue Klasse shields with the proper front baffles (pictured) but the mounting holes did not line up to the tii spindle and it seemed the hub hole was not the proper size. I think Alpina models use the Neue Klasse shields but cut them down to fit.

Put my car on the chassis dyno yesterday,  between 240-250 hp to the crank, a  little over 209 hp to the rear wheels.
