Yes the body is of the later model, the vin is 2380631. It will need some interior improvement. I'm selling all 5 1/2 of my 02's

Looks like he has mixed & matched cars & parts.

His other (just ended) auction (link below) noted the VIN as 2380631, but the VIN plate showed 2370332.......however, the driver door has VIN tag 2380631 on it.

i ain't buying that seller is not tech savy.  if they are selling multiple 02's and wrote those descriptions, they have a clue.  accurate VIN number representation does not require any tech savy...that is basic stuff...especially for anyone who deals in used cars.

 

then he just says "the body is of a later model"...geez...that is what defines the year of the car, not the engine.

VIN 2380631 is an early U.S. 1975 model 2002A, as we suspected.  But it's got a cop engine... ?

Regarding the VIN number...

This is a rare situation where the redundancy of  Vehicle Identification Number number is sort of ... appropriate. 

...seeing as the vehicle actually has multiple numbers : p

 

1973 fuel injected tii !!  Run to the ATM machine, type in your PIN number and hit BIN now

I was going to replace certain parts and components but recently I developed some medical problems and won't be able to finish and fine tune this 02. It's a nice Tii for the price.

 

I think he knows exactly what he's doing.
