Front Bumper Install Question

Is there a trick to installing the brackets for the front bumper? I can't get enough clearance between the bracket and the frame rails where the mounting bolts fit into the slots to enable them to slip into the bracket holes. Any suggestions/advice?

BMW started doing too. I spent a very frustrating hour trying to get one side done. Four holes, 30 seconds later and you're done.

Cheers!

Slide the brackets into the holes and then lower the bumper so that the brackets tilt inside, this will place the holes over the top of the framerail, slide the bolts into the brackets, and then tilt the bumper back to horizontal. move it out a bit till the bolt head can slip into the hole on the frame rail. That's about it. Make sure not to scratch the paint with the bumper. Keep the bolts that hold the bracket to the bumper a bit loose and tighten them when the bumper is in place on the car.

Hope this helps.
