intake porting for 38/38 DGES

Does it matter whether I port two 38mm holes in my intake manifold, or one oval with a diameter of 38mm? My assumption would be the oval is better since one more restriction would be taken out to increase airflow. Also, I would be able to grind out a little bit of that 90 degree elbow. Has anyone done either of these? TIA, and thanks Paul at Maximillion for the outstanding service.

I intend to do the sam thing soon.

I will go with the oval because that's the consensus and it looks easier than trying to get 2 holes even.

I will also probably try to ease the bottom edges for percieved better flow, but the intake manifold is pretty rough inside, so it probably doesn't matter too much since its not a perecision piece.
