where do you buy distilled water?

Working on flushing my coolant.  Distilled water seems to be necessary. 

 

I just don't trust what I could get (for free) from a gas station.

 

Where, oh where, can you buy it?  Grocery store?  Walmart? Target? Brew my own?

My local Walmart carries it. Cheap, too.

If you are doing a proper coolant flush use a water hose to flush the system and then fill with coolant and distilled water.

 

No real need to waste distilled water. Try and break loose any calcium build up around the block with water pressure and scraping

Use water from the faucet to flush the system. Most importantly open the heater valve and remove the block drain from the exhaust side.  I buy premixed Prestone coolant. No mixing required.
