Wanted stock flat bottom air filter for Weber conversion. Late models won't work as the bottoms are concave and once

adapted sit too close to carb and hoses'

 

Pic is of a typical adaptation and def' the one I'd like to have

So you're looking for a single barrel carb (pre 72-ish) style air filter housing? I might have one. PM me, if thats what you seek.

I've got an early carb cleaner here. Looks like the photo below. Is it sufficient for your needs?

how deep is that rust? media blast could fix that if i'ts just surface'

 

Is that a stock early snorkel hose? I've been looking for one.

I have a few of the double barrel cleaners. As well as the single ones. I didnt notice that any had a flat bottom like that. It looks like someone modified it that way? Or is it from another car?  I can double check though.

There was no air filter housing with flat bottom regardless of year as far as I know. What is shown in OP is a modified filter housing.
