Whose got e12 Scheel seats in their 02??

Do they mount OK or do you have to weld? Do they

look a bit bulky in the smaller 02 cabin? Have the

opportunity to buy a pair of these cool seventies

styley seats and it's a toss up between them and

recovering the usual e21 recaros..

I think Arne's seats are scheels. They look very cool. I think they were an option on some 02's from Alpina.

Have them, love them, but yes they are a bit big especially if you are sitting behind them (little or no room for feet). I think they have more lateral support than the recaros, and will be better on long trips. The look is all 70's mine are even two tone. I haven't seen many in 2002.

By the way if the seat is reclined you will not able to close the door, too wide.

And they are pretty bulky in an 02. Very comfy though. Theyre mainly bulky up top, but I think its more a visual bulk than an actual intrusive bulk.

intrude on the door? Sorry if I'm being dumb.

Also, do they use the 02 mounts?
