call me cynical, but anyone can write anything on wikipedia

I, too, am left slightly puzzled by the Wikipedia entry:  it lists the Euro-only E12 520i application yet only lists 1972-1974 as the relevant years for 2002tii’s (U.S. models were, indeed, 1972-1974, but Euro models were 1971-1975).  And was the 2000tii (again, a reference to a Euro-only model) actually produced from 1970 to 1973?  And is the “2000tii” reference to the 4-door sedan version, the touring version, or both?

What’s my point?  If the details are not consistent or correct, are there problems with the overall entry?  Maybe there is an M15 engine, but this entry needs some fact checking....

Regards,

Steve

You took the words out of my mouth. I told myself last June: "Even at this price, it's a very good deal."  (and it was!) Prices are climbing rapidly.

So that rusty 72 tii is at 15k, while that very pretty 72 tii with non original stuff, but LSD, brakes, JF built head, all the work, great driver is not even at 10?

Is BAT really just a circle jerk for those with too much money?  (If that's too crude of vernacular, let me know.)
