Tires 205/60r/13

Hi.

Just bought a set of Ronal Kleeblatt 13 inch wheels. Wanted to run 205/60r /13 tires. Looking at the "Vredestein Sprint Classic" and " Federal SS-595. "

Can anyone let me know on pros and cons of either tire or have another recommendation for rubber. Thanks.

Vredestein has been around forever, has a very good rep. More of a touring tire.

Federal is made in Taiwan IIRC. Drifters love them,big with the JDM crowd.

Federal has had some  quality issues with tread separation in past. 

Their sticky they don't last long but their cheap.  

 

Would depend what your plans are driving wise.

Expect your steering effort to go up quite a bit.

Not a drifter. Just want a reliable tire that’s a bit sticker then what I have .  Sounds like Vredesteins are best bet unless there’s another good option that size. 205/60r/13. 

Would 185’s offer a better ride?
