Any one been brave enough to try one of these out? I've been doing some research and comparing options for limited slip diffs and this popped up. I'm skeptical on most things off Ebay but wanted to put a feeler out before I crossed it off my list of options.

not bad I suppose. I have never done a carrier but do have two single pull cases for the 2002 laying around. If I knew how to rebuild one easily there is money to be made reselling. What does a LSD go for nowadays? $500 to $900?

Alright, I bought one.

 

They've got an FSAE team in Belgrade and they said they built their own diff, so I'm betting it's those guys that went ahead and started their own thing.

 

Anybody have an extra open diff laying around they want donate or sell cheap?

much curiosity about this little do-hickey LSD. 

 

Lemme get this straight... You can disassemble your stock diff, install this assembly, reassemble, and now you've got an LSD? 

 

Sounds too good to be true. I want.

I ordered one, It is worth a try before I invest 1500 in a rebuilt LSD and go through the headache of all the driveshafts etc....

Trying to get a fix on how those springythings, bolts and straps are going to hold up to repeated applications of torque without bending and eventully failing.  Maybe for an afternoon of doughnutting a parking lot, an autocross etc but for street daily driver????   but they do advertise as racingdiffs, which is a hint.
