dipstick

Looking for info on a pre 70' dipstick, the block has ahole in the side different from the later set up. Anyone know where to find one /

The original dipstick holder on my '69 was part of the air pump mounting bracket. When I removed my air pump, I just found a dipstick holder from an early 1600 and used it. You can also take the airpump bracket and saw the dipstick holder part off it, clean up the cut with a file and you're set.

The dipstick itself on my 69 and 73 are identical (even tho the bases are different), except the handle on the 69 is red and on the 73, yellow.

Painting the yellow one red will not work. Same for Coil.
