red or blue coil and how much $$$ should it be? (nt)

Yes they have been tested on a distributor machine by a very smart friend. MSD Blaster, #1, Pertronix and Bosch red, a close 2nd, Bosch blue a distant 3rd, stock the same as blue which was pretty poor.

Glad I know this now, as I have a blue coil which will soon be a paperweight. Will the red coil work with a Pertronix ignition, or would it be a better idea to go with the Pertronix coil?
