Have you sent your VIN to BMW yet?

It’s seems that bmw email doesn’t work anymore. But the Classico link says its 68 production

Hi, here is a photo of my interior, the gauge stack in the center consol and the radio aren’t original and the steering wheel has been replaced with a Nardi wood wheel.  My headlights are Hella H4, with period correct Cibie fog/driving lights. On the VIN question my understanding is that my car was manufactured in December of 1968 and was picked up in Europe (tourist delivery) in Feb 1969, the VIN is #1667430.  I think the post that suggested to contact BMW to get a VIN search is a good idea if there isn’t an online search engine.

Is that correct, no e in archive?

Correct.  No “e” in this usage.
