Just a few miles in the hills around Barney’s place, but enough to know it’s running well. ?

 

Still waiting on a few window felts and squeegees but it’s very close to done.

It was pretty glorious...

I think I surprised Barney a little when I nailed it in 1st and shifted at 6 grand...the Solexes roaring without the airbox ?

 

It pulls well and idles like nothing; I thought it had died when we rolled up to a stop sign. It’s very nice. I couldn’t be happier.

Replaced the old, worn black decals in the recesses of the nose trim.

Eastbound and down... headed to O-Fest. I’ve had minor issues but the car runs well. Stopped off to see Ray yesterday and had a fine time catching up. He put his glass skills to work and polished out some horrible scratches in my driver’s side window.

Big day at OFest. Wet car show this morning saw Jim Gerock and Marshall, then off to NC with the Classic group.
