The doctor told me I have Tom Jones disease.

Is it rare?

It's not unusual.

Many, many, years ago I was with a couple of colleagues in the bar at a hotel in south Wales (we were doing a Xmas shutdown job at a local aluminium plant). A large group came in and one person in particular looked familiar to all 3 of us. We were trying to think of which local steel or aluminium company he probably worked for when the barman overheard us and told us it was Tom Jones.

Surely his tan would have given him away in South Wales.

I met met him years ago when I was an apprentice with Land Rover in the UK when he came in to collect his all black custom Range Rover from LR special vehicles. Really nice guy.

presumably, Les, the singer, and not the ‘02 Tom Jones...

?

And as they must say in South Wales, “What’s New, Pussycat?” ?

Best regards,

Steve

Wow here she is again, what a story she has...!!! I remember looking at that car from a distance @ Erhard motors dealer in the back lot with the NJ MFG lic plate back in 75. I later sat in that car sporting the Euro only blue velour/cloth seat covers around 96 at a private collectors building. It had the blue Euro cloth seats. I remember that the gas pedal did not want to budge..so did not even attempt it! One thing I really remember is that it looked in pretty nice shape but never looked too deep out of respect for the owner.

I have a set of the original FPS wheels as shown in the first pic. I'm willing to part with them....

They are in good condition, no curb rash etc.

Most people would probably love to know where you/the wheels are located.

Price, photos & location are helpful.  Here's the link for the classified section if you're trying to sell them.  Good luck!  https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/forum/11-parts-for-sale/

It's been 10 years, but he (Paul Schuster) was in Austin, TX. Maybe he's back in CA now?
