Tobacco would be correct, as (Gobi?)tan/beige was not introduced until '74. Saddle replaced Tobacco in mid (?)'72 for the remainder of roundie production.

 

I don't have anything to offer, only ask for those that do so they can help/respond accordingly, unless of course you're doing a color change.

Here's Saddle on the left from my Mar. '73 02 and (Gobi?) tan/beige on the right from a very original mid-production '74 tii. I'm sure someone can provide pix of Tobacco shortly.

This is very helpful.  I need to go with saddle to match my reupholstered seats from I believe a 73.  Thanks

That's definitely Saddle, although the passenger seat (on the left in your photos) looks a bit darker. Is the color mottled or solid (Tobacco is a bit darker and mottled) Also, chrome hinges and head rest grommets were replaced w/black pieces in mid-'72 if I remember correctly.

the front seats are original vinyl from two different early cars, and the rear seats are new vinyl painted to match the front seats. That should explain the shade variations.
