140mph 3.45 ratio speedo

This speedo is very rare. Made for UK market very early tii's only I believe, as only european early tii's had 3.45 diffs and only the UK uses MPH in europe.

 

If you have an engine swap e.g. M20/S14/turbo etc a longer diff ratio than the 3.64 is probably needed, I used this speedo in my M20 swapped car with a 3.45 diff and it was a perfect match. You will be looking a long time for another one of these. I dont really know what to price it at as I have never seen another one for sale.

 

Note ratio number on the reverse photograph "W = 1.224" indicating the 3.45 ratio, also the manufacture date July 1971

 

Please note the sale is for the speedo only, not the rest of the cluster.

As it's for early RHD tiis, you may have better audience.

My RHD Touring has a 140mph speedo, but the ratio is 1.297 to match a 3.64 diff.
