WTB: Fog Light Switch Button

My opinion?

The pushbutton switches were only available in green in August 1976, when I purchased the switch still in use in my ‘76. The other colors appeared shortly thereafter in e21’s and e12’s.

The early switches have a thin “chrome” ring around the pushbutton, like the amber/mustard switch in 02tradition’s photo. Later versions have all-black bezels.

Below, my ‘76’s switch in August 1983 and July 2012. The chrome ring around the pushbutton is showing some defects in the later photo.

Regards,

Steve

Les,

Maybe other markets offered colors other than green earlier than the U.S. market. But yours also lacks the chromed trim designed to match the emergency flasher switch....

Best regards,

Steve
