That's more than I used to pay for whole parts cars...

...and 3x what the URO ones cost.

Got no dogs in this hunt, NMNA, but--

"Used to" is the operative word.  Hell, I've been given '02s even in the last year!  But, I'll still buy all the roll-onto-a-trailer complete '02s for around $300 you can round up in the NW or elsewhere.

Fixed that for ya.

This is the complete taillight assembly, so an amazing deal even a decade ago.

I'm sure some roundie owner would love to have this.

At those prices, patina is starting to look pretty good.

Then again, the driprail trim isn't so crazy in price.

Or are we all getting used to the neue pricing?

Am I just not seeing the outer trim ring, then?

You are correct!  Didn't notice that.  This part number should include everything from front to back of the assembly.

Maybe that's why it's heavily discounted.

That must be the case.  The listing doesn't mention this being a incomplete part.  Though, as Toby points out, the ring doesn't appear in the photos.  Since the chrome ring is still available (63211353318)  for ~$134 this is still a good deal since the complete assembly is listing at around $900 right now!

Once again I'll post this cheat sheet I created in the early '80s for the 5-speed conversions we did back then.  Please note this is for the close ratio 5-speed.  This tail light is approaching the cost of the tranny back then!
