‘72 tii in SoCal. Thoughts?

Plenty of potential. Doesn’t look quite like Baikal metallic to me, but color interpretations and photos vary. Does “model correct 2.0L” indicate the engine block is not original?

 

VIN 2761864 is likely a late May or early June 1972 car and it should, as it does, have plastic intake runners and no firewall notch.

No firewall notch and no snotkle. Probably original nose. 

Front strut spacers still on top just like the owner in the 80s left em.

AC was a common dealer install for non-sunroof cars. (However, Paul, this car DOES have a sunroof....now ya gotta buy it)

 

Any history in the tii register?
