Oh yeah, forgot one thing: flashlights. I carry two, a Petzl headlamp and a Nebo Big Larry work light. The latter is nice and bright, has a magnetic base that actually holds it in place (within reason - gravity is a harsh mistress), and has a flashing red emergency mode that's reassuring when you're stuck on a dark road with traffic flowing by.
