Front fender rear mounting bracket

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I'm in need of the vertical bracket that welds to the A-pillar and provides the mounts for the rear of the front fender.  It's shown on the W&N website but it isn't available from them at this time.  Does anyone know of an alternate source.  They're not all that complex so if I have to, I could take a shot at making them but I'd rather not.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks

Rod

They were available domestically as recently as earlier this year, as a friend bought two for his '75.  They're really nothing more than an L-shaped piece of sheet metal with holes containing captive nuts.  Get a piece of 12 or so gauge steel, have a sheet metal shop bend it to an L shape, drill oval holes at the appropriate locations (use the fender as a guide) and buy some clip-in cage nuts, and you're in business--ready to weld in.
