I did all black in Da Beater...………..it's like the black hole of Calcutta. Never again.

At least put an Esty grey carpet in as a contrast.

I'm with Vic. At least talk with Dave at Aardvark. Very helpful and knowledgeable most 02 stuff. He upholstered in the early days too. Recaros are a bitch if not experienced. Very nice rehab job on mine for a set price.

I embraced the Tan interior since my car is very unusual because it has one. Every other Polaris tii that anyone knows off has a blue interior. It's one of one!

 

I ordered and am installing (today!) esty carpet. The E21's are out for reupholstery and I decided to jazz them up with some German wool houndstooth inserts. 

 

That should shake things up a bit!

i'm all oem and love it. got it done by a old guy here in LA that only does vintage german cars

I did a similar thing on a previous 2002. Here is an example of roughly what you're looking to do. Full black leather interior. E21 Recaros and E24 rear buckets. Black headliner.
 




 

Were the rear seats custom recovered or do you know if a kit is available?

I just picked a color and pattern fabric out of my interior guys sample materials. I went with a synthetic material for the headliner now that I am thinking about it.

I had all of my interior at the time recovered. I can't remember how much leather it was, but budget for more surface area doing this vs the traditional rear bench seat.

Do you know if the E24 front seats are the same as the E21 in terms of size? 
It is very hard to find E21 seats in France...
