great to read all about the coupe emblems  and even different styles. thanks for all the input fellows .having been involved with the b m w  s for over 30 yrs i have only come accross  one 1600-2 with the emblem on the back panel cheers Keven

was it an expensive white one for sale 2-3 years ago (in the UK obviously)

hi Nick thanks for reply ,no it was the first bmw 1600-2 to be imported into new zealand by the newly appointed b m w dealer in,1967 Ross Jensen Motors .this first car is now lost ,no one seems to know what happened to it ,which is a bit of a shame really.cheers keven
