Jaymic are one of the world’s most renowned BMW specialists. They might not be the cheapest by the time you have shipped stuff and converted currency but you can be confident buying anything from them.  Mick McCartney (the ‘mic’ in Jaymic) literally wrote ‘the book’ on 2002s

Great guys, run by Fay + Pete (Fay is Mikes daughter) I can’t recommend them highly enough, very good people to do business with.

I have been buying from them for over 30 years (well Mike as well to be fair) in that time they have been hugely knowledgeable, trustworthy and very reasonable, when something has gone wrong in the post etc, I spent many days up at Jaymic when they also had the restoration business, was a great drive up from London on a day off or Saturday morning.

They would always give advice pre the internet and the faq, customer service is always great.

I have purchased quite a bit from the over the past six months. Excellent to deal with and have some hard to find bits. Awesome packaging and shipping although not cheap is very quick. usually 3-4 days from shipment to delivery for me. Due to shipping costs, suggest making sure to get enough of an order to justify the cost.

I bought all my parts from Jaymic for my late '80s refurb of my Touring, and over the years for the odd-ball RHD parts.

These books by Mike Macartney (Jaymic founder) - as Simeon said, he literally wrote the book on 2002s.

Certainly what everyone else said about Jaymic.  Now, to the item when it arrived in the US.  Jaymic shipped it quickly and appropriately; however, USPS customs has held it up for >3 years.  After a year of back and forth with the USPS I gave up.  I do not even remember what item I ordered now.

Blew my mind when I found out Mike Macartney is Faye's dad.

I too have had good success with Jaymic..I have had that book for a long time and never knew the connection, pretty cool as it was one of the first "guides" for our little cars I had found. When I bought my car from a fellow '02 enthusiast he gave me the book when I picked up the car and also directed me to 2002FAQ!

I agree with everyone else. I've made a few purchases from Jaymic and haven't had any problems with shipping to the US (sorry to hear what 2002#2 went through with shipping). They were the only place that had replacement parts for my Moto-Lita steering wheel. And they were super helpful in finding the right stuff I needed...I really appreciated the extra steps they went to to help me. Good people for sure.

Solid, solid, solid folks. A real godsend on both stints of my Targa ownership, often being able to acce$$ rare parts when most everyone couldn’t. Their reputation precedes them...
